Ofcom announces winners of the 4G mobile auction

Ofcom has announced the winners of the 4G auction in the UK — if, by "winners," you mean "companies which spent hundreds of millions of pounds" :)

  1. But many, many millions less than last time.

    If my fading memory is right, in 2000 with the 3G auction the UK did better than other European States. This time it has done rather worse.
